Blind Wine Tastings: Sharpen Your Senses
This summer, join us for a series of guided blind tastings designed to elevate your appreciation of wine. On July 1, celebrate Canada Day and discover the nuances of both red and white varietals. On August 3, immerse yourself in “Blinded by the Blanc,” and on August 17, explore the depths of “Seeing Red.” Each 90-minute session is $30 plus tax and provides an engaging, hands-on learning experience. From analyzing wine color and clarity to uncovering complex aromas and evaluating tannins, you will leave with a deeper understanding of what makes each wine unique.
Thursday Estate Lunches on the Tuscan Patio: Savor the Season
Indulge in a summer lunch on Hester Creek’s Tuscan Patio, surrounded by vineyard views and the warm Okanagan breeze. Estate lunches are available on select Thursday’s throughout July and August, and some dates have already begun to sell out, but we’re always adding more. Our chef-inspired menus feature local ingredients and perfectly paired Hester Creek wines, offering a true taste of the South Okanagan that you won’t want to miss. Reserve your spots in advance before these summer events sell out!
Live Music Every Weekend: Sip, Relax & Enjoy the Views
Every Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer, enjoy free live music on the Wine Shop patio from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Listen to talented local singer-songwriters while sipping your favorite Hester Creek wines. Pair your experience with a selection of charcuterie items available from our Tasting Room, or bring your own picnic to enjoy on the grass in our pet-friendly area.
We recommend arriving earlier to secure your favourite spot on the patio! Afternoons with live music are popular among locals and travellers, offering a lively and communal environment. Check out the lineup of upcoming musicians.

We invite you to a wine club after-hours event (19+). These exclusive club experiences offer a complimentary glass of wine and a sample tasting of a featured wine with a sweet or savoury pairing as we gather from 5 pm to 7 pm. Enjoy the evening accompanied by live music. Use coupon code WINEDOWN for complimentary access for up to 4 guests (per wine club member, annually). If you wish to join us for additional Club Wine Down events, there will be a small ticket fee of $30 per person for each additional date.
