Hester Creek’s Award Winning 2026 Competition Season: Part 1

So far, the 2026 competition season has been a rewarding journey for Hester Creek Estate Winery. We’re celebrating achievements and a growing collection of prestigious awards.

As results have started to roll in from some of North America’s most respected wine competitions, we’re taking a moment to highlight these award winning wines. A nod to Hester Creek’s longstanding commitment to quality that has guided us for decades here on the Golden Mile Bench in the Southern Okanagan.

Among this season’s highlights is the 2025 Old Vine Pinot Blanc. This vintage brought home a trio of honours at the Pacific Rim Wine Competition: Best of Class White, Best of Show, and Double Gold. We are especially grateful for these distinctions. Reflecting the dedication of everyone involved, from the vineyard to the cellar. Fresh, expressive, and beautifully crafted, this is a wine that continues to turn heads and now has the accolades to match.

We are also honoured by the recognition several other wines received this year. The 2022 Old Vine Merlot and 2022 Undici each achieved Gold at the Los Angeles International Wine Competition. In addition, the 2025 Viognier and 2022 The Judge earned a place among the Top 50 at the BC Wine Awards.

With such strong performances across multiple competitions, the start of this season has reinforced Hester Creek’s standing as a leader in the Canadian wine landscape. These acknowledgments are a continued testament to the hard work and care our entire team put in together.
