Leadership Transition: Mark Sherdian to Retire; Roger Gillespie Named President
June 1, 2026
HESTER CREEK PRESS RELEASE:
Mark Sheridan, President of Hester Creek Estate Winery, has announced his retirement for late December 2026. Mark joined Hester Creek in April 2010 as General Manager and has led the company’s successful growth over the last 16 years. Mark and his wife, Allison, will still reside in the Okanagan, but they are looking forward to spending extended periods with their family in their home country, Australia.
It is with pleasure that we announce that Roger Gillespie, Director of Operations, will be the new President of Hester Creek Estate Winery upon Mark’s retirement. Roger joined Hester Creek in March 2012 and has a long history in the Canadian wine industry. Roger’s deep understanding of Hester Creek’s operations, culture, and values will ensure a smooth transition.
