There’s something magical about the Okanagan Valley in September — the vines are heavy with fruit, the air carries that first crisp hint of fall, and the whole valley seems to slow down just enough to savor it. That’s exactly the spirit we’re bottling up (pun intended) for this year’s Harvest Festival at Hester Creek Estate Winery, happening Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 12 pm to 4 pm each day.
This free, family-friendly event is our way of inviting the whole community to gather on the Wine Shop lawn and celebrate the season together. Our annual celebration is beloved by many, and what was once Garlic Fest has transformed into Harvest Festival. Grab a glass or a bottle of wine, settle in with some live music, and let the afternoon unfold at its own easy pace. Hungry? Local food trucks will be on-site both days, so you can pair your wine with something delicious without ever leaving the party.
Shop Local Vendors at Harvest Festival
We’re especially excited about this year’s vendor lineup. Tents will be set up each day featuring a fantastic mix of local Okanagan small businesses, offering everything from artisanal goods to handmade art and beyond. It’s the perfect chance to shop small, meet the makers behind the products, and pick up something special — whether it’s a gift for someone you love or a little treat for yourself.

Entertainment from Local Musicians 1-4pm
Live music has always been part of the heartbeat at Hester Creek. All summer long, we’ve been welcoming local singer-songwriters to our patio at the Wine Shop every weekend, giving guests a front-row seat to the incredible talent coming out of the Okanagan Valley and British Columbia. That same tradition continues at Harvest Festival, with live music filling the patio both days as you sip your wine and soak in the views.
- Lewis Cardinal: Friday, September 18th
- Brent Tyler: Saturday, September 19th
Hester Creek Wines at Harvest Festival
Of course, no Harvest Festival would be complete without great wine. Our wine tent will be on the patio pouring two featured wines by the glass both days, and non-alcoholic options like bottled water and soda will also be available, so there’s something for everyone to sip on while enjoying the sunshine.
Take Some Home With Our Wine Case Lot Sale
Harvest Festival is also the perfect time to stock up, thanks to our Case Lot Sale running throughout the event. Take $60 off cases of Petit Verdot Malbec, Meritage, or Pinot Gris Viognier, and if you’re not quite ready to commit to a full case, single bottles of Petit Verdot Malbec and Meritage are $2 off. It’s a great chance to fill your cellar with some of our most-loved reds and whites before the season winds down, just in time for cozy fall dinners and holiday entertaining ahead.
See You At Harvest Festival!
Mark your calendars, bring your friends and family, and join us as we celebrate everything that makes harvest season in the Okanagan so special. A quick note before you go: carpooling is recommended as parking is limited, and we’ll have a buggy shuttle running from the parking areas up to the event. We can’t wait to see you on the lawn!
