Raised in small-town Southern Alberta, Kayla developed an early curiosity about people, places, and the stories that connect them. After moving to Calgary to study Journalism Arts, she built a career in marketing and communications that has taken her from the mountain community of Waterton Lakes National Park to Vancouver, Whistler, and Vancouver Island. Along the way, she developed a passion for tourism and hospitality, building authentic brands, creating meaningful connections, and helping communities tell their stories. Drawn to the Okanagan’s outdoor lifestyle and strong sense of community, Kayla now calls Oliver home. With more than a decade of experience in marketing, events, communications, graphic design, and brand strategy, she brings a thoughtful, people-first approach to her work. Outside the office, you’ll likely find her exploring local trails and lakes with her rescue dog Archie, planning her next travel adventure, or enjoying a good time outdoors with friends and family.
