We are extremely proud to have Robert Summers as our winemaker.

Born and raised in the Niagara Region, Robert attended the University of Guelph where he graduated with an Honours Degree in Food Science. He is an award-winning Winemaker with over 20 years experience in the industry.

Robert has a solid track record of creating exceptional wines for such industry leaders as Hillebrand Estates, Henry of Pelham, Cave Spring Cellars, and Peller Estates. While with Peller, Robert directed VQA winemaking for two vintages in the Okanagan.

Robert's winemaking philosophy has been enriched by traveling to many of the world's top winemaking regions, including Chile, Argentina, Italy, Southern France and California. He is a firm believer in blending old world traditions with new world technologies to produce wines that are complex yet subtle.

Robert's signature winemaking style is always appreciated by seasoned wine connoisseurs, yet his wines have found broad appeal by novice wine consumers as well.

We are genuinely thrilled that Robert has joined Hester Creek, and look forward to creating magnificent vintages together.
